Lara joined Michael Page in March 2021 as an intern to support the team launch the Healthcare recruitment desk for the UAE and Northern Gulf markets. 

Being a specialist within Healthcare, a licensed Dietician and having hospital experience in the UAE, she picked up recruitment very quickly and was able to screen candidates effectively and accurately. She also successfully supported the team in sourcing candidates in multiple geographies and seniorities for difficult roles in Life Sciences. 

Lara imbibes the Michael Page values – she is determined, resilient, customer-centric, a team player and passionate. Within several months of her internship, she was given the full-time role of Associate Consultant responsible for all placing junior-mid level Healthcare roles (Hospitals, Laboratories, Clinics) in UAE & Northern Gulf. 

On the mindset that has helped her during her internship and now full-time role, Lara shares:
